My Favorite Places to Shop for Lingerie for Your Invite-Only Session
You don’t need a closet full of lingerie to make your Invite-Only session incredible, just a few pieces that make you feel confident, comfortable, and like the best version of yourself. A sheer vintage slip, a strappy corset, or something totally unexpected can completely shift the tone and energy of your session.
This guide highlights the brands I personally love and recommend for their quality, craftsmanship, and overall vibe. You’ll find everything from small indie labels to high-end couture—options for every budget and every level of lingerie enthusiasm. Whether this is your first time exploring lingerie or you’ve been collecting it for years, I think you’ll find something here to fall in love with.
$ — Beginner Range: Under $100 per piece
If you’re new to lingerie or still figuring out your personal style, this is a great place to start. Experimenting can get expensive fast, so this price range lets you play around with different cuts, textures, and materials before deciding what you really love.
Savage X Fenty is modern, colorful, and made for real bodies. They carry everything from everyday basics to statement sets in an inclusive size range. While it’s unfortunately a fast fashion brand, they do partner with the Clara Lionel Foundation to support climate-justice work, and their price point makes it easy and approachable for anyone new to lingerie—not a bad place to start before investing in the bigger pieces further down this list.

Iconic New York City brand Calvin Klein has been setting the standard for casual American fashion since 1968. A slouchy pair of Calvin Klein jeans with their classic briefs is a match made in heaven for an Invite-Only session. Add a soft cotton bralette and you’ve got a full look. It’s one of my personal fave styles ever, and really easy to put this look together for your session. It’s a little boyish, a little sporty, and always effortlessly cool.

Vintage lingerie on Etsy is unmatched—sustainable, one-of-a-kind, and full of character. Shopping secondhand supports small resellers and keeps clothing in circulation, which is better for both the planet and your wallet. You can find handmade slips, silk robes, and lace-trimmed pieces that add history and personality to your session. Don’t forget about Depop and Poshmark, too. People resell brand-new pieces all the time when sizing doesn’t work out. I’ve found several designer sets for my own collection NWT (new with tags) for less than half the retail price on Poshmark!
