Autumn Picnic Family Session at Pilot Knob State Park

Spent a fall afternoon at Pilot Knob State Park for a relaxed family session that blended motherhood, family, and couples photos all together. We kept things simple and easy, letting Izara lead the way as we wandered around the park and soaked up the crisp autumn weather.

We climbed the observation tower at the top of the park and took in the view that stretches forever. After coming back down, Izara explored the wooded trails and ran around for a bit with her cousin Kennedy while we walked along and took photos as things naturally unfolded.

We finished the session with a picnic near Pilot Knob Lake—fruit, cookies, and lots of stopping to look at frogs in the water. No rush, no posing, just a really sweet snapshot of family life in this season.
