Spring Motherhood Session at Iris Aisle

This spring motherhood session took place at Iris Aisle in the conservatory during golden hour with Amelia, Izara, and a few sweet moments with grandma too. Izara is still very much in her toddler era, and the session felt playful and full of movement as we explored the greenhouse together.

We wandered through the conservatory surrounded by huge tropical plants, dancing, spinning, and letting Izara do her thing. The warm light filtering through the glass made the whole space feel soft and glowy, and it was such a perfect setting for documenting early motherhood in a way that felt easy and fun.

We also took time for a few portraits of just Amelia. She modeled for me constantly when she lived in Des Moines, and it felt really special to photograph her again in this season of life. She wore the most beautiful blue two-piece skirt set and looked absolutely stunning. I loved getting to slow things down and celebrate her on her own, too.
