My husband and I had our wedding ceremony at the courthouse downtown with just our immediate family. We hired Alyssa to capture the ceremony and some photos before and after to commemorate the day. Alyssa had great ideas for unique photo spots, we also had fun walking around visiting some of our favorite bars with her. She was quick to send us preview photos & the finished photos all together. We loved working with her and her photos are beautiful. Highly recommend!

[We] wanted someone to shoot our small elopement wedding who understood that we wanted rock n’ roll and bolo toes and sequins over traditional wedding pics. not only are her photos amazing but alyssa is truly so easy to be around and communicate with, which makes us non-photogenic people way more comfortable with a lens pointed at us. our wedding photos by alyssa captured candids of some of my most treasured memories from that day. i am honestly floored at how lucky we were to find someone so inclusive, understanding, and whose vision i LOOOOVE so close to home in the midwest. i couldn’t recommend her work enough. 100/10 stars!!!

Alyssa is one of the most talented photographers in DSM and such a sweet person! At all stages of the process Alyssa was there to answer questions, provide recommendations, and help sure our special day was perfect. We had to change our plans due to covid and Alyssa was so accommodating. Alyssa did an amazing job capturing our special day (and dealing with our two pups) and we are so very thankful we found her! Alyssa is an AMAZING photographer. We had a very non-traditional wedding and she was so helpful in making our wedding pictures be exactly what we wanted. Alyssa was so great on our special day! She was flexible and was able to travel to KC to catch our small elopement. I had followed her for years because I loved her photography style while capturing musicians. She brought that same flare to our elopement photos! We had multiple locations picked out for the day and Alyssa was excited to shoot all of them. It was raining allll day and she came prepared with clear umbrellas that turned out so good in the photos. Alyssa also snagged some film photos that turned out amazing!!
