[We] wanted someone to shoot our small elopement wedding who understood that we wanted rock n’ roll and bolo toes and sequins over traditional wedding pics. not only are her photos amazing but alyssa is truly so easy to be around and communicate with, which makes us non-photogenic people way more comfortable with a lens pointed at us. our wedding photos by alyssa captured candids of some of my most treasured memories from that day. i am honestly floored at how lucky we were to find someone so inclusive, understanding, and whose vision i LOOOOVE so close to home in the midwest. i couldn’t recommend her work enough. 100/10 stars!!!

My biggest worry when searching for our wedding photographer was that I didn't want our photos to look like every other wedding out there. Alyssa made ART out of our wedding photos and gave us a unique and wonderful experience from our consultation to our wedding day. We ended up booking 3 sessions with her: engagement, couples boudoir (yes it's a thing and yes you should totally do it) and our wedding day. For each session, she ran with our ideas and exceeded what we had planned in our minds. She makes you and your partner feel so comfortable in front of the camera. Something that especially stood out to me on our wedding day was that she took the time to memorize names of our wedding party and family so that she could direct people and make them feel comfortable during group pictures. A small gesture that went such a long way. She was the only one photographing our day, but still somehow managed to capture every special person and moment throughout our wedding. As I'm sure you can tell by now, I can go on forever about how great Alyssa is to work with, but please know that if you're on the hunt for a photographer who will provide you with an awesome experience and photos you'll treasure forever, she's your girl. 🖤

If you are looking for an extremely talented photographer who is a blast to work with, look no further. Alyssa was fantastic from the first meeting to the very end and I am ecstatic with how the pictures from our engagement shoot, wedding day, and boudoir session turned out! She captured so many of the little moments that flew past me in the excitement of the day that I know it's cliche to say, but these pictures really do reflect the most amazing moments of my life and the investment to have a pro like her make it so we can treasure the memories forever is 100% worth every penny!
